  • Overview

    Anderson House, a program of Turning Point located in Whitehouse Station, is a halfway house and transitional housing program for women recovering from addiction. Dedicated to providing quality treatment, Anderson House supports women as they develop the necessary goals and life skills to become responsible, productive and sober individuals.

    Anderson House is seeking an Administrative Assistant to provide office support, coordination and serve as a resource to the Program Director.      





    • Complete Resident Roster weekly and distribute to Clinical Team Supervisors at Anderson House and Turning Point.
    • Schedule/change/cancel all medical appointments for clients and complete all accompanying appointment paperwork.
    • Keep Client Medical Appointment Spreadsheet current.
    • Schedule transportation with LogistiCare for client appointments.
    • Complete SAI weekly attendance by 12 noon every Monday and submit to SAI.
    • Collect Turning Point Billing sheets from counselors and scan and send to Billing Department.
    • Monitor and complete Bed Days Statistics Monthly.
    • Send Graduate Follow up letters and monitor and keep current Graduate follow up reports.
    • Update Daily Census and distribute to Clinical Supervisors at Turning Point.
    • Complete CARF staff schedules monthly.
    • Keep track of and monitor client payments and Three-Quarter House rents, complete deposit slip and submit to Clinical Director for deposit weekly.
    • Keep a current record of contact information for all Anderson House vendors and contact as directed.
    • Keep all vehicle insurance and registrations up to date.
    • Periodically check for and inspect Program licenses for expiration dates.
    • Order supplies as needed for Anderson House.
    • Inspect Copy machine, fax machine, color copier and conference room copier for paper daily and keep them filled.
    • Create agenda and take notes for All Staff /CQI meetings.
    • Retrieve mail daily from Post office and from mailbox at end of driveway and distribute to counselors, development and clients.


    New Client Admissions

    • Enter new admissions and discharges into the HMIS database.
    • Collect and scan treatment surveys from clients referred from Turning point and send to Patricia White.
    • Keep track and file staff emergency attendance sheets.
    • Update emergency “Go Bag” with each client admission, discharge and new employee information sheets.
    • Receptionist duties and retrieve voicemails to appropriate staff.
    • Demonstrate knowledge of all program policies and guidelines.
    • Perform all other duties as assigned by the Clinical Director or designee.

    Preferred qualifications

    • Associates Degree, Human Services,Skilled in the use of Word, Excel and Outlook
    • Satisfactory driving record, limited driving to local post office
